Live-In care is appropriate for individuals that require the presence of a caregiver on site 24 hours/day. The caregiver lives in the client’s home. People with mobility issues or memory impairment are usually the best candidates for live-in care. On average, the cost of live-in care is equivalent to 10 hours of hourly care with some additional ancillary costs such as grocery items for the live-in caregiver.
